Education
Since 1977, Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation
(WRR) has been dedicated to nursing injured native wildlife
back to health and returning them to the wild. During this
time we have learned many useful things about the habits and
characteristics of these amazing creatures. It is that understanding
that has allowed us to assist thousands of homeowners involved
in real (and sometimes imagined) conflicts with wildlife.
One result of these many experiences is our
growing educational program. WRR is proud to offer educational
presentations to regional school districts and community groups
about a variety of topics related to animal welfare. Homeowners
learn to better understand the role of urban wildlife in their
environment; children learn to engage the natural world without
fear.
Wildlife and Animal
Welfare Presentations
Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation's presentations
focus on the natural history of native wildlife with the aim
of fostering a deeper respect for animals and their habitats.
Young Rescuers
Aspiring animal rescuers will enjoy the games
and information on this page.
