Join us in beautiful Boerne for a 3-mile fun
walk and help raise funds for Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation
to care for thousands of animals. Come and bring your dog,
your spouse, your friends, and your family to enjoy the walk
and the post-walk festivities, including:

All walkers who turn in $250 or more
in sponsorships are eligible for a drawing for a $500
gas card. |
The two walkers with the most sponsorship
dollars will receive our first and second place prizes. All
walkers who turn in $250 or more in sponsorship dollars are
eligible for a drawing for a $500 gas card.
Walk Information
This fun 3-mile walk is on a well-marked route
winding through the quiet streets of Boerne. Water and rest
stations will be set up along the walk route. The walk will
be held rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
Your canine friends are welcome. City regulations
require that they be leashed and under control at all times.
You'll need to clean-up after your companion (clean-up bags
will be provided).
Be sure to join us for the post-walk festivities.
They will include music, entertainment, refreshments by area
restaurants and cafes, and an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful
Boerne Main Plaza and your fellow walkers' company.

Collecting Sponsorships
Now is the time to ask your friends and family
to sponsor you on the Walk on the Wild Side walk for wildlife.
Every sponsorship you receive will go toward feeding hungry
babies, mending broken wings, and helping all the animals
who pass through or live at WRR.
Even if you can't joins us for the walk, you
can still register and collect sponsorships as a "virtual
walker" for the animals at WRR. Virtual walkers still
qualify for the prizes.

Registration
The registration fee is $25 per walker, plus
collected sponsorships. Your registration fee includes an
official Walk on the Wild Side event t-shirt.
To be eligible for a t-shirt and prizes, your
signed registration/sponsorship
form, registration fee, and sponsor donations must be
received by 5:00 p.m., Thursday, September 25, 2008. Mail
forms and checks made payable to Wildlife Rescue &
