There are three ways you can pre-register for Walk on the Wild Side:

• Pre-register online via the WRR Online Store. (Click on the "Add Cart" button, submit your contact information, and select the "Check/Money Order" payment method.)

• Print and return a Pre-Registration Form (PDF).

Now Until October 3: Collect Sponsorships

Now is the time to ask your friends and family to sponsor your Walk on the Wild Side. Every sponsorship you receive will go toward feeding hungry babies, mending broken wings, and helping all the animals who pass through or live at WRR.

Even if you cannot join us for Walk on the Wild Side on October 3, you can still collect pledges for the WRR Team. Sponsors should make checks payable to Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation or WRR. Mail the checks you collect along with a completed Sponsorship Form to: Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation, Attn: Walk on the Wild Side, P.O. Box 369, Kendalia, TX 78027.

October 3: Register, Submit Sponsorships, and Enjoy the Walk!

Bring your completed Registration/Sponsorship Form along with all the sponsorship funds you've collected to the Walk on the Wild Side event at the Boerne Main Plaza at 9:00 a.m. on October 3.

This fun 5K walk is on a well-marked route winding through the quiet streets of Boerne. Water and rest stations will be set up along the walk route. The walk will be held rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.

Your canine friends are welcome. City regulations require that they be leashed and under control at all times. You'll need to clean-up after your companion (clean-up bags will be provided).

Be sure to join us for the post-walk festivities. They will include music, entertainment, refreshments by area restaurants and cafes, and an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Boerne Main Plaza and your fellow walkers' company.
