Trees on the Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation
(WRR) property are nesting sites to native birds. They are
the playground of squirrels and raccoons. The oaks are a source
of food for the wild deer, sheep, and goats who grace our
lands. In the monkey enclosures, stands of trees are places
to climb, jump, and play with others. The high branches are
spots of safety and a look-out point from which to watch the
world around them. Fruiting trees are also a source of food
for many of the primates and others who live at WRR. Shrubs
and vines provide shade on hot days and shelter from rains
and wind.
We need to further enrich the lives of our
sanctuary residents by planting additional fruiting and leafy
trees on the property so that as they grow, they will provide
a natural food source for the animals living nearby. Please
sponsor

but also for our environment.
