Shop for Treasures at The Squirrel's Nest

WRR's thrift store, The Squirrel's Nest, has opened to rave reviews this winter. Everyone who has been to the store is charmed by its warm atmosphere, friendly service, and fantastic merchandise at great prices. We continue to receive a lot of donations to resell and there are new items in the store every day.

The shop is located in a beautiful historic home at 515 North Main Street, just two blocks north of the main shopping district in Boerne, Texas. It is open Tuesday–Saturday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. The phone number is (830) 331-1366.

Print a copy of this article and bring it with you to The Squirrel's Nest for 25% off your entire purchase, now through the end of February. (Not valid for furniture).

All items for sale are donated. We accept furniture and working appliances, adult and children's clothing, kitchenware, knick-knacks, books, videos, CDs, toys, linens, and much more. Your gently used items are treasures to us and to the animals. Donations can be dropped off at the store or at the Kendalia sanctuary. In keeping with WRR's ethic of environmental responsibility, The Squirrel's Nest will not purchase plastic merchandise bags. We want to reuse your paper grocery bags and shopping bags, so please bring these things too!

We look forward to seeing you at The Squirrel's Nest as a shopper, a donor, a volunteer, or all three!

Get Involved

Volunteers are greatly needed to assist in the store to sort donations, stock shelves, and care for our customers. Contact Lori Hinton at (830) 336-2725 x304 for more information and to sign up for a shift.
