The Big Give is the BIGGEST day of online giving in South Central Texas, raising in excess of $45 million dollars for the local nonprofit community over the past decade. During a single 24-hour period, residents from across our 15-county region and beyond will come together to support more than 400 nonprofits by making a donation to support the critical services they provide our community. Match Minutes

Throughout Big Give, matching gifts are allocated during designated 60-second windows—this means your donation can be doubled! To help us reach our goal, we are asking you to maximize your donation by contributing during the time slots listed below. Every organization participating in Big Give is competing for these same Match Minute funds, so timing is important.

Each Match Minute will double gifts up to $100 (with a maximum fund of $10,000 per minute across all participating organizations)

WRR is proud to qualify for a special Match Minute during Big Give. Thanks to the San Antonio Area Foundation from 1:11 pm to 1:16 pm, organizations with a primary mission of Animal Welfare located in the following counties (Tascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, Medina and Wilson) will qualify to have all online donations up to $100 matched dollar-for-dollar until the $10,000 fund is exhausted. As a registered organization, your support during this time is crucial in doubling the impact of our work for animals in need.

Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation is excited to present Artistic Animals, our annual fundraising event focused on supporting the care of WRR’s sanctuary residents. This unique event started when we introduced paints and canvases as enrichment for some of the animals in our sanctuary. The joy they found in creating art led to the development of distinctive and captivating pieces.

This winter, join us to view and purchase 40-50 unique paintings created by ducks, bobcats, primates, and more. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind creation, and all proceeds will directly support WRR’s mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and release native wildlife, as well as provide sanctuary, individualized care, and a voice for other animals in need.
