Meat and Other Food
We are happy to take donations of meat for the many carnivores in our care. We can take all meat, except anything containing pork or meat that has been seasoned. All meat needs to have been stored safely, such as in a freezer.
We also accept other food items, such as those used as treats for the animals. This includes items like organic peanut butter and dried fruits.
If you have a question about a donation, please email info@wildlife-rescue.org or call (830) 336-2725 and select the option for Donations.
Furs
Wildlife Rescue is one of the few non-profit organizations that accepts fur donations. Real fur coats, stoles, hats, collars, and more can be used to comfort orphaned baby wildlife during their recovery and rehabilitation. These are especially useful during “Baby Season,” which runs from March through September. Should you wish to donate a fur, please mail the items using the following shipping information:
Shipping through USPS:
P.O Box 369
Kendalia, TX 78027
Shipping through any other service:
335 Old Blanco Rd.
Kendalia, TX 78027
Due to the possibility of irritating dyes, we do not accept faux fur donations.
Vehicles
If you no longer want or need your car, truck, or trailer, give Wildlife Rescue a call at (830) 336-2725.
If the vehicle is in good working order, we may be able to put it to good use at our sanctuary. WRR often has a need for pick-up trucks, small cars, and flatbed trailers to carry out our work.
By donating a vehicle to WRR you will receive a tax deduction for the fair market value of the vehicle.
Stocks, Paintings, Jewelry, Land, or Any Other Item of Value
The generosity of our supporters has provided the foundation of funds and other resources to enable our staff to give these animals the essential care they required. You can help ensure we continue this care for as long as it is needed by donating items of value WRR. We invite you to join in this way of expressing your commitment to wildlife and WRR’s work.
If you have a question about whether or not an item can be donated, please contact info@wildlife-rescue.org, or call (830) 336-2725 and select the option for Donations.
